Day 4 - Rainforest Walk and Montgomery Reef

Nice scenic ride to a waterfall that hadn't flowed for 6 years. We were very lucky to be able to go for a swim there. This waterfall didn't have a name.

These falls haven't flowed for 6 years!

Followed by a walk in a rainforest ending with another swim. Was able to snorkel and it was surprising to see so many fish. Lovely walk and the bonus was sharing the pond with a freshwater crocodile!!
Off to start rain forest walk

Later in the afternoon we went on a trip to Montgomery Reef - this is where at low tide the water literally falls off the reef with fish life.  The reef is 400 square kilometres.  Unfortunately due to a anchor problem, we were about an hour late to catch the beginning of low tide however there were still heaps of water birds around looking for a feed. It was spectacular and no photos can do it justice.
