Day 7 - Oystering at Palm Island and Lost City Art at Bigge Island

Early start 6.30am on Homer for short ride to a beach where some pried oysters from rocks. Beautiful setting.

Starfish

Looks like a crocodile

Little later we went for a hike to the Lost City to see Aboriginal rock art. Some really interesting drawings from the Bradshaw era. The colours of the rocks and formations were really nice similar to NT and Uluru.  Bigge Island is extremely picturesque with lovely views across the bay and rock formations.   After our walk we were welcomed on board with a swimming pool, so welcome.

So welcomed
We were very lucky to have two sharks keeping us company at the boat today. Beautiful specimens.

Tawny Nurse Shark

Late afternoon it was oysters and champagne on the boat bow.

Interesting rock formation
